The Jersey Coast Chapter recently partnered with Sylvia's Children, a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and educating hundreds of African children, to help service children in one of the most vulnerable areas of Uganda, Africa. Sylvia's Children currently supports Mbiriizi Primary School, which consists of 1000 children between the ages 4 - 14, of which 216 are orphans due to the AIDS crisis.
The holidays are a great time to reflect on our own lives and appreciate how fortunate we are to have the comfort of our own homes and our families by our side. It is also a great time to help those that are less fortunate than us and offer them a chance to enjoy the simple things that we take for granted.
Please take this time to consider helping the Jersey Coast Chapter and Sylvia's children make this holiday year special for the 1,000 children at the Mbiriiizi Advanced Primary School in Uganda, Africa. Your donations will allow each child at the school to have a new t-shirt and their own fleece blanket.
