Shoes Still Needed For Children’s Charity

Holmdel, NJ… Sylvia’s Children has an urgent need for “Crocs” style shoes. A shoe drive was held last month to collect 1,000 pairs of the shoes, one new pair for each student currently enrolled in the school that the charity has been supporting in Uganda, Africa.

“Crocs” style shoes were chosen because they are easier to care for in the alternately muddy and wet, dusty and dry conditions of the African savannah. Shoes in women’s sizes 3, 4, and 5 are still desperately needed to ensure each child receives a pair.

For more information about donating “Crocs” style shoes in women’s sizes 3, 4 or 5, or to report a place where they are available, please call Sylvia at 732-946-2711 or 732-241-1144.

The shoes are being delivered to the children at the end of June, so donations must be received no later than June 19. For more information about Sylvia’s Children visit www.sylviaschildren.com. One hundred percent of all donations go directly for the care of these children.
