Now in our 9th year of support we have built a well, a boys dorm with beds, classrooms with furniture, a library with books, a kitchen, a chicken farm, a sewing facility, 7 acres of land with corn, nursing, and a solar light system. We have executed two medical trips. Our Goal is to make the school totally self-reliant.

June/July 2012, after visiting and working at the school, we will go trekking with the gorillas! Get those walking shoes out and be prepared the opportunity of a lifetime.
All-inclusive price is still $4,000 BUT we have to add an additional $500 to get a gorilla permit!

“The Governor’s Jefferson Awards highlight the great service of New Jersey’s 1.5 million volunteers who are making a difference in our state. We invite you to review our 18 award categories and nominate outstanding volunteers who have inspired you by their dedication, creativity, and leadership.”
