Update on the March medical trip!

Great  news!

Thanks to an anonymous donor (an angel on earth who donated the full price of the trip if I could find a nurse) we have a nurse!  And not only do we have a nurse but her husband is coming with her!  :)  

 

Thanks to Tony (my son) putting the request on Facebook and my stepdaughter, Sheila, finding the nurse we have a happy ending to the story.  And, as a bonus, Becca Brandt and her sister Katherine are coming as well so we have two medical people and four "worker bees" and the trip will be a success.  Thank you ALL for making this happen.

  

What we need for the trip

  

As many of you know we have a lot of equipment from Hope for the City in Minneapolis that has been delivered to the clinic.  (One container seems to be stuck in Mubasa but it should get out soon.)  

 

One of the things that has been so wonderful is we have regular file cabinets that we can file the students' records in.  We need 1,000 8.5" x 11" hanging folders if anyone feels so inclined to donate them.  This way we can get a folder for each child and record keeping will finally be neater!
