To Africa And Back!

Just a short update on last week's trip to Uganda. Money safely delivered, gifts safely delivered, awesome and overwhelming as usual.

Brought back wove mats for everyone who did not get one in June that had their name in it. That would mean the Jones' family, Claire, Rhonda and Gene ... I have your mats!

The well is being started Monday am ... 100-150' deep.

For those going in July, just a gentle reminder to get your payment to Sally by Monday. If you wish to put it on a credit card, call me and we will process it here so Sally doesn't lose the 3% on credit card processing. She's not making any money as it is!

Sally and I are participating in the ADVENTURE IN TRAVEL show again in January and will be in the same Africa row as this year. It turns out Churchill Safari Tours will be there as well so it will be fun.

Stayed at the Tropic Inn, which is certainly a step above the Brovard. A few little details ... such as no phone, no Internet service, etc. ... but they PROMISE this will all be taken care of by July! Sally is great at keeping on top of all this.

Ronnie was my guide and driver ...he sends his greetings to all and will be with us in July. And, of course, the children and everyone at the school send their love and are anxiously awaiting our return in July.

Have tons of ideas on what we can do to help but am still suffering from a little jet lag. Incidentally, save March 2 for the Grandmother of the Year award brunch. If you are within a 100 mile radius would love to have you come.
